HomelyGo

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

1. What you pay

When you book on HomelyGo, the booking screen shows the homestay amount, the HomelyGo platform fee, the part paid online now (the advance, which can be up to 100% depending on the property) and any balance payable at the property. The platform fee is always paid online.

2. Cancellation policy of each property

Every listing shows one of the following policies before you book. Times are counted until the property's check-in time on the arrival date.

PolicyRefund of the amount paid online
Flexible100% if cancelled at least 24 hours before check-in; 50% if cancelled later but before check-in; no refund after check-in time.
Moderate100% if cancelled at least 5 days (120 hours) before check-in; 50% if cancelled at least 2 days (48 hours) before; no refund after that.
Strict50% if cancelled at least 7 days (168 hours) before check-in; no refund after that.

The refund is calculated by HomelyGo's system from the policy shown at booking. It cannot be changed by the guest or the host.

3. How to cancel

Sign in to your HomelyGo account, open My Trips and choose Cancel booking, or contact us with your booking number.

4. When the refund arrives

Refunds go back to the original payment method through Razorpay. Banks usually credit them within 5 to 7 working days after the refund is initiated. You can see the refund status in your account.

5. Balance paid at the property

Any amount you paid directly to the host at the property is handled by the host under the same policy.

6. Booking that cannot be confirmed

If HomelyGo cannot confirm your booking after you have paid (for example, the room became unavailable at the same moment), the full amount paid online is refunded automatically.

If a host cancels a confirmed booking, contact us with your booking number and we will refund the full amount paid online.

7. No-shows

If you do not arrive and do not cancel, it is treated as a cancellation after check-in time.
